Order labels on cake boxes
Many of our orders are a gift (whether a gourmet cake, croquembouche, macarons or profiteroles) for a birthday, anniversary, graduation etc. Oftentimes the sender is not even in Sydney. Hence when the order is delivered the recipient is informed of the sender's name as it's not always obvious from a card/plaque message.
There are times when the recipient works in an office and the order is delivered to reception, or they're not home and their house mate accepts the delivery. Sometimes in these situations the recipient will call us and enquire who the sender was.
To alleviate this, we're working on a labeling system which includes both the recipient and sender names. The label will be stuck onto the cake box.
As well as being useful in gift situations, this is change will be great when an employee in a large company places an order which is then delivered to reception. The drivers normally inform reception of the recipient but they may then forget if they're distracted before calling the recipient to collect the order.
This will be implemented with 1 or 2 months - stay tuned!
