Capturing occasion information

Today we added a selectable drop down list of various occasions on our cakes, croquembouche and party food catering product pages, which is filled in while choosing product options.

The purpose of this is for us to gather useful information on you as a valued customer and your buying patterns, and hence to be able to offer you more suitable offerings in future.

An example of this would be an executive assistant ordering monthly cakes for the office. If the occasion 'office party / meeting' is selected, we can then send an email to the customer offering them discounted corporate delivery and specials to do with office catering at the appropriate time.

This is a huge benefit to you as a customer as it allows us to tailor our message to suit your particular needs and interests.
